Quest Ipswich is a 64 room property located in Queensland's fastest growing local government area. The property has recently undergone a $2 million refurbishment and won National Franchise of the year at the 2025 Quest annual conference.

We're on the lookout for a new Executive Housekeeper to join its team on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week. We would also consider candidates who are able to work 5 days per week on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Property Manager, the role involves leading a small housekeeping team as well as hands on work in the delivery of housekeeping and room attendant services for the apartments and cleaning of common areas to ensure the presentation of our property in line with the high standards of the Quest brand and to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

Your team leadership activities will involve working closely with the Property Manager on recruitment, rostering, training and leadership of the housekeeping team to ensure high levels of work productivity and quality, positive employee engagement and retention, and strong alignment with Quest's established model and procedures.

Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for customer service, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong appreciation of workplace safety.

Prior experience in housekeeping in a business environment is essential, and prior experience with leading a housekeeping team would be an advantage.

Whilst not essential, tertiary qualifications in a business discipline or the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
