Accounts Assistant role at CVS Group UK. This full-time position offers hybrid working: Monday to Friday. Salary up to £30,000 per year.

Summary of role: Accounts Assistant, hybrid working, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities- Assist with the daily posting of receipts and payments on both the Sales & Purchase Ledgers, ensuring ledgers are accurate and up to date, including allocations
- Actively follow the Debtors SOP to recover overdue monies
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Be a key team member by ensuring deadlines and set tasks are met
- Contribute towards Month End/Year End processes
- Maintain and establish excellent working relationships with team members, suppliers, customers, management and departments at regional and national levels
- Carry out any ad hoc reports when requested
- Enter daily target of invoices onto the system
- Monitor, action and respond to emails within the joint account's inbox in line with team members
- Participate and contribute to regular team meetings
- Set up customer and supplier accounts on the system
- Assist with providing information to auditors when required
- Carry out weekly creditor reports and present to the Finance Manager for authorisation/payment
- Show motivation, dedication and commitment to the business
- Resolve customer, colleague and supplier queries effectively and proactively
- Produce key reports to set deadlines for Head Office on a regular basis
- Liaise with all departments and Head Office to support business success
- Proven record of producing accurate and timely accounts
- Experience in sales and purchase ledger
- Ability to collect and manage debt
- Proven record of achieving success
- Minimum AAT Level 2 qualification and willingness to develop skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Solid knowledge of the overall accounts process and its ledgers
- Confidence to contribute to team meetings
- Previous experience of OrderWise is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Ability to meet all deadlines and set tasks
- Experienced Microsoft user with ability to create pivot tables and formulas in Excel
- Self-starter with a desire to drive efficiencies
- 6 weeks leave per year (5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays or equivalent)
- Extra day of annual leave each year in the first 5 years (up to 7.6 weeks)
