The Opportunity

• 8 months
• 3-4 days per week (hybrid)
• Perth

Skills and Experience needed

• 5+ years' experience
• General commercial contracting experience is essential and we are happy to consider experience from a wide range of industries
• Relevant experience might include drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers and service providers
• You must have the ability to hit the ground running, work autonomously and prioritise
• Our client is seeking a lawyer who is happy to be a doer and confident being on the tools, and has the ability to understand and adapt to the needs of a business

As well as excellent legal experience you will need:

• Senior stakeholder management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships externally and internally
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• An excellent client service focus, ethic and commitment
• Willingness to engage with Ashurst via an Independent Incorporated Legal Practice or casual employment
• You have a current practising certificate
• You have the right to live and work in Australia
