This is a contract opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst with a Large Federal Government Organisation.

  • Hybrid or office/remote work arrangement available in Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, or Melbourne.
  • A competitive hourly rate of approximately $110-$130 per hour, along with a 12-month or 24-month multi-year contract opportunity.
About the Role:

The APS6 Senior Test Analyst will work across various projects within the organisation, ensuring that ICT solutions meet quality, performance, architectural, and functional requirements. This role requires a senior candidate who can work independently with minimal instruction, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Due to the nature of this contract role within the federal government, applicants must be Australian citizens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute complex test cases on suitable testing platforms using technical analysis of specifications.
  • Develop and review test plans, test cases, task cards, and supporting test data in accordance with provided specifications.
  • Apply in-depth technical analysis and practices when designing, executing, and creating test cases.
  • Assist in defining test environment requirements.
  • Analyse and document defects, programming errors, and operational characteristics inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
  • Monitor and manage time and effort to ensure test cases align with project schedules.
  • Manage a small team by setting priorities, managing resources, and assisting in developing work plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement projects effectively and timely.
