Job Title: Senior Test Analyst

Osborne Richardson specializes in public sector recruitment. Our IT division is led by an experienced IT project manager, ensuring you work with someone who understands your requirements based on real-world experience.

Contract Details:

  • 12-month contract
  • Salary: Negotiable

The Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for test planning, assessment, execution, reviews, and reporting for multiple Registration and Licensing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Use ISTQB test design techniques to develop test plans and approaches.
  • Create and maintain test cases and test suites based on functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Identify test data and environment requirements.
  • Produce test traceability from specifications to test cases and record outcomes.
  • Capture test evidence to validate activities.
  • Report and manage incidents/defects following TMR standards.
  • Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Assist Test Lead/Project Manager with test completion reports.
  • Provide technical and testing advice during user acceptance phases.
  • Work independently and within a team.

Technologies:

  • Mainframe batch jobs or Control-M GUI – Java Batch
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Middleware
  • Web Services (XML/SOAP) and API testing (MuleSoft)
  • Log checking (Putty or similar)
  • JMeter / SoapUI
  • JIRA and Confluence
  • ServiceNow
