Overview

Sirromet Wines is a family owned winery located at Mt Cotton, 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD and the Northern end of the Gold Coast. On site you will find a state of the art winery production facility, fine dining restaurant, Cellar Door with a vibrant café, glamping accommodation, and functions and event facilities. Beautiful surroundings, with views of Moreton Bay and first class service, contribute to Sirromet Wines' appeal for functions, events and weddings.


The role

As a valued member of the Sirromet team, your aim is to ensure all public areas of the property and outdoor food areas are cleaned to a 5-star standard to enhance our guests' experience. You will also ensure that our facilities are clean and tidy and complement the high quality food, wine and entertainment Sirromet Wines offers.


This is a permanent part-time position, working approx. 20 hours per week, with an option for more hours in the future.


Your key tasks during your shift might include
  • Mopping
  • Cleaning of facilities
  • Polishing glass
  • Dusting
  • Replenish sanitation stations and ensure these are always kept hygienically clean
  • Maintain and clean all areas to a very high standard including but not limited to: Entrances, Reception and office areas, Functions areas, F&B outlets

What we are looking for

To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

  • Experience in a similar role is a major advantage but not essential
  • Must be available to start work as early as 5am on weekdays, weekends and public holidays (flexible hours; weekend penalty rates possible)
  • Must be flexible
  • Willing to undertake a variety of cleaning tasks
  • Highly organised and able to multi-task
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must present well
  • Must possess a friendly and engaging personality
  • Physically fit as this is a high intensity role
  • Own reliable transport (no public transport to premises)
  • Full working rights to work in Australia
