This is an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operator / Crane Operator / Lineworker Assistant on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters, the depot uses the latest infrastructure and technology to support a productive and inclusive workspace.

Your Role in Action
  • Crane and rigging operations.
  • Key support role to the Transmission Operations Team.
  • Carry-out on-site transport and logistics of materials to workfronts.
Responsibilities
  • Carry-out on-site transport and logistics of materials to workfronts.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Valid WA C Class Drivers Licence to business requirements.
  • Valid WA HC Licence (minimum).
  • High Risk Crane licence class C6 (essential).
  • JCB Loader experience would be preferred but not essential.
  • Western Power Crane Supplementary would be preferred but not essential.
  • High Risk Licence class Forklift (preferred).
  • Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment).
  • Prior experience in providing non-trade support in an operational team environment.
  • Demonstrate Western Power's constructive behaviours and values.
