Gyprock Trade Store Manager (Surrey Hills, VIC)

Full-time position based at the Surrey Hills store, reporting to the Area Manager. We are seeking a proven leader with a strong focus on safety, excellent communication, and solid computer skills.

Responsibilities
  • Safety: Champion safety compliance, ensure the safety of the team, customers and the public. Conduct site safety walks to maintain safe operations.
  • Staff management: Hire, train, and supervise employees to deliver excellent customer service and perform duties effectively.
  • Sales and marketing: Oversee sales activities, promote the store and products, support marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales, and open new accounts. Use analytical tools to inform decisions.
  • Financial management: Monitor store P&L performance and make decisions to improve profitability.
  • Compliance: Ensure the store complies with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and experience
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Strong focus on safety, communication, and computer skills.
  • Forklift licence is desirable or willingness to obtain one.
