Overview

Are you ready to work with one of the largest independent battery companies in Australia? A privately-owned national Australian company that is the major provider of quality automotive, marine and industrial batteries throughout Australia. This position is based in Welshpool WA and requires someone who is energetic and influential to drive the business forward. This role suits a hands-on person involved in day-to-day practical operational activities within a store, including a trade/retail counter.

Responsibilities
  • Retail sales and servicing of existing customers
  • Maintaining and satisfying the current customer base
  • Warehouse, freight and delivery duties
  • Development and execution of sales plans
  • Ability to lift automotive batteries regularly
  • Manage and be responsible for inventory in vehicles
  • Be willing to learn all aspects of our battery business
  • Help to create sales prospects for your branch
Qualifications
  • Open Driver Licence required
  • Previous experience in a sales representative or product delivery role is an advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated success in building customer relationships and generating significant sales within the automotive industry is desirable
  • Experience implementing sales processes, problem solving and the ability to cold call, close sales, and contribute to maintenance and reliability improvements is highly regarded
Work Details

On-the-job training will be provided regarding our products and services. The role requires working one Saturday shift on a rotational basis.

Hours: Mon to Fri 8am–5pm, Sat 8am–12pm (Rotate)
