Fleet Compliance and Training Officer

Responsibilities- Overseeing fleet compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Developing and delivering training programs for drivers and fleet users.
- Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Collaborating with teams to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Supporting continuous improvement in fleet operations and training practices.
- Relevant Qualifications/Completed Modules in Training and Assessment for Verification of Competency.
- Experience in the heavy vehicle industry, particularly in Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and National Heavy Vehicle Law (NHVL).
- Experience in developing theory and practical training packages.
- Proven ability in assessing competency of operational staff.
- Highly developed organisational, written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to interpret legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice to ensure compliance and practical application.
- General Construction Induction Card.
- Heavy vehicle and/or plant operating experience.
- Knowledge of Local Government functions, particularly in fleet management.
This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $80,529 to $93,588.
