We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front-end Engineer to join our tech team. As a Engineer at swipejobs, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our innovative market leading web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product team to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient front end development
  • Develop new user-facing features and components using TypeScript and React.js
  • Optimise application performance and ensure high responsiveness
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices
  • Work closely with the UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces

Experience:

  • Australian market experience in an extremely fast-paced and extreme agile environment
  • Hands-on development expertise with JavaScript, HTML5, React, Angular and any CSS preprocessor like SCSS or LESS
  • Advance understanding of TypeScript & React.js
  • Good working knowledge of Micro Frontends
  • Knowledge of source control systems, GIT preferred
  • Experienced with TDD and writing test cases
  • Integration with RESTful APIs
