About the RoleThe IT Solutions Architect will play a key role in designing and delivering tailored IT solutions that meet clients' technical and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Design: Develop and design IT solutions that align with client requirements and industry standards, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Pre-Sales Support: Work with the sales team to identify client needs, present technical solutions, and contribute to proposals and cost estimates.
- Virtual Desktop Solutions: Assist in designing and managing virtual desktop solutions, including Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, ensuring reliability and security.
- Cloud Architecture: Design and implement cloud-based solutions with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Security and Compliance: Apply knowledge of security standards such as the Essential 8 to ensure compliance in all solutions.
- Project Execution: Oversee the deployment of IT solutions, working with project managers to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Technical Escalation: Act as an escalation point for technical issues, providing hands-on troubleshooting and solution development for more complex problems.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients throughout the solution delivery process, offering technical guidance and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
- Experience: 4 years in IT solution architecture, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure; familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements, including Essential 8; solid understanding of network architecture, security, and virtualization.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or other equivalent certifications are desirable.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to clients and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
