Experienced Solution Architect sought for an initial 12-month contract

Join a forward-thinking digital program supporting frontline operations within a leading mining company. This role offers the chance to work alongside a technically capable architecture team on high-impact initiatives aimed at transforming field operations and enterprise systems.

Candidates must be based in Perth and have a proven track record in delivering solution designs within complex, asset-intensive environments.

Key Skills And Experience Required

  • Solid experience designing and reviewing digital or application solutions within enterprise ecosystems
  • Deep understanding of system integration, cybersecurity alignment, and architectural governance
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable outcomes
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) and modelling tools
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Prior work in solution or enterprise architecture roles across mining, energy, or industrial sectors

Role Overview
  • Drive architecture activities across design, governance, and implementation phases
  • Develop solution documentation including architecture definitions, design diagrams, and review packs
  • Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and cyber risk frameworks
  • Provide input into technology selection, project assessments, and transition-to-support planning
  • Partner with delivery teams to align solutions with operational and business goals

About You

You're a pragmatic, delivery-focused architect who enjoys working at the intersection of operations and IT. With a strong understanding of enterprise systems and a passion for digital enablement, you're confident engaging stakeholders and leading technical design discussions. Experience in resources, energy, or infrastructure domains will be highly regarded.
