Overview

Field Boilermakers - Roving Team. Location: Mackay & Coalfields. Work type: Casual. Job no: 496980.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy mining equipment (Rope Machine, Dragline and Shovel).
  • Perform maintenance or breakdown work across various sites, with roving and shutdown assignments; roster: 4 days with mini outages and roster coverage.
The Successful Applicant, Will Have
  • Relevant Trade Qualification
  • Experience working on heavy machinery (Essential)
  • Coal Board Medical
  • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
  • Current MR Licence (Essential)
  • Confined Space, GTA & Working at Heights
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to liaise with management and clients
  • Uncompromising attitude to safety
  • Ability to meet site requirements

FMS Group has grown since 2005 as CQ Field Mining Services. Divisions include PNG Field Mining Services (since 2013), WA Field Mining Services (since 2017), and Field Mining Services Group established in 2019.
