About the Role

There are several temporary part-time clinical and laboratory positions. Available immediately, for an initial period of 6 months: 0.4 lab and 0.1 clinical; and available before the end of 2025 a further fractional total of 1.4 clinical FTE for an initial period of 3 months. All positions may be extended. Minimum laboratory appointments are 0.2 FTE (including any current appointment); minimum clinical appointments are 0.1 FTE.

Clinical role:
This role provides specialist Haematology clinical care to patients and assumes overall responsibility for patient care.

Services include

Provides specialist services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service, which includes other facilities located across Metro South Health including satellite clinics.
Provides inpatient care, including participating in the on-call roster

Laboratory role:
Provides specialist laboratory haematology expertise (laboratory reporting of films, marrows, flow cytometry, quality improvement activities)
