Overview

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring that a high degree of quality customer service is provided to all clients.
  • Manage, mentor, coordinate and develop staff through clear and effective communication, delegation and performance management.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of the client's business, risk management and insurance needs to ensure that Marsh services and programs meet their needs and expectations.
  • Lead, plan and implement renewal and broking strategies, ensuring the renewal process and results meet client expectations.
  • Actively developing additional business from the existing portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent).
  • 5+ years' experience in managing a portfolio of SME clients, transport experience will be highly regarded.
  • Technical skills on key General Insurance classes including Industrial Special Risks, General Liability, Motor Fleet, Marine and Accident & Health lines.
  • Prior experience managing a small team.
  • Excellent working relationships with insurers and underwriting partners.
