As the Site Supervisor in Townsville, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our clients with both physical and psycho-social disabilities. As a dynamic leader, you will guide and inspire a dedicated team to deliver person-centered care within our Home Service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, coordinating individualised care plans, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers both team members and our clients.

Duties Will Include:

  1. Supporting the financial performance of the Home Service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with the budget.
  2. Ensuring team members are aware of each individual's requirements.
  3. Providing support aligned with the person's plans, goals, and requirements, including aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  4. Delivering and encouraging accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an audit trail and maintenance of progress notes.

What You Can Bring To The Team:

  • Experience in the Disability sector, particularly with complex behaviours and mental health challenges; relevant qualifications will be highly regarded. Experience with Dementia Care is also highly valued.
  • Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them systematically.
  • A Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support is highly regarded.
  • Availability to work some weekends and overnights as required.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain necessary checks and licenses, including Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check, and a valid driver's license with comprehensive insurance.
