Join a leading national contractor in the temporary position of Site Manager, overseeing new build, extension, and refurbishment projects in the food retail sector. The role involves managing live construction sites, prioritizing quality, safety, and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of site operations, labour, and subcontractors
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety, site housekeeping, and quality assurance
  • Liaise with the client, supply chain, and internal project teams
  • Manage site documentation, permits, and daily reports
  • Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and materials
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience managing retail construction projects, preferably in food retail
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance on-site
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Gold/Black), and First Aid certifications are essential
  • Experience working in live store environments is preferred
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally are required
