The role

Mineral Resources Kwinana workshop is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. Reporting through to the Workshop Superintendent, your primary responsibility will be leading and supporting a team of experienced individuals which include Leading hands, Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter and apprentice providing frontline task allocation, direction, mentoring and supervision to your team, as well as reaching workshop targets safely.

This position is a Monday – Friday Kwinana based role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Schedule, plan and coordinate mechanical works for company employees.
  2. Supervise, instruct, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel in daily activities and tasks.
  3. Ensure that the installation and commissioning activities are being undertaken in a timely and cost-effective manner for all works.
  4. Reporting of incidents, non-conformances, near misses and participate in incident investigations as required.
  5. Ensure Quality, Environmental, and other Company policies are implemented, maintained, and progressively improved.

What you'll bring to the team

  1. Australian Recognised Trade Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Minimum 2+ years' Supervision experience.
  3. Minimum 5+ years' post trade experience.
  4. Minimum 4+ years' experience working with Screens and Crushers.
  5. S26 supervisor qualification.
  6. Appointed Persons qualification – Section 44.
  7. Well-developed interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills.
