About The Role

We are currently seeking a flexible, self-motivated, and highly organised Storeperson to join our tight-knit team based in Mackay, QLD. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with a positive "can-do" attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, with a primary focus on the accurate receiving of Purchase and Transfer Orders for both customer fulfilment and stock movements between branches. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive team player looking to grow with a dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts.
  • Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Ensure warehouse operations are conducted both safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure products are received and checked against Purchase Order receipts, monitoring for any discrepancies and escalating where necessary.
  • Efficient Pre-Picking, Packing, and Dispatch of customer orders.
  • Receiving Purchase and Transfer Orders, including the inspection, labelling, and correct placement in the Identified Inventory Location System.
  • Be a part of the stocktake process as required to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Communicating with the Depot Manager regarding warehouse operations.
  • Leading by example in relation to Company policies including Work Health & Safety policies and procedures. Where necessary identify and report safety needs or issues promptly.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
  • Current Forklift License (or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role (preferred)
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with the use of RF Scanners (desirable not essential).
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy levels are maintained to a high standard.
  • Current Australian Driver's License.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required e.g. excel, word, etc
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
