This is a full-time position in a boutique public practice firm in the Newcastle and Hunter region offering tax, compliance, and advisory services to a wide client base. This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant with 2+ years of experience in Business Services who wants real client exposure, professional mentoring, and long-term growth.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Preparing financial statements & tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts & SMSFs
  • Assisting with BAS, IAS, and FBT lodgments
  • Supporting senior staff in tax planning and advisory work
  • Building hands-on experience across a variety of industries
  • Developing client communication and relationship skills
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years\' experience in a public practice accounting firm
  • Currently undertaking or planning to start CA/CPA
  • Strong technical grounding in tax compliance
  • Great communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Working knowledge of Xero, Microsoft Office and cloud-based software systems
