Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team. This role will suit someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for accuracy, who is looking to grow within a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations
  • Process payments and monitor cash flow
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records
  • Support payroll processing and compliance reporting
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve account queries
  • Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year reporting
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance role
  • Payroll: End-to-end processing for 30+ employees and subcontractors, including allowances, overtime, and terminations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar) and MS Excel
  • Understanding of GST, BAS, and payroll processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
