As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business, leading the analysis and delivery of high-impact initiatives across multiple divisions including Claims, Sales & Service, Risk & Compliance, Product, IT, and more. Responsibilities

• Leading the planning and delivery of strategic projects and transformation initiatives
• Driving stakeholder engagement across business, technical, and executive teams
• Identifying business needs and opportunities through deep analysis and insight
• Translating complex business problems into clear, actionable solutions and specifications
• Leading workshops, eliciting and refining requirements, and validating solutions
• Mentoring and supporting other Business Analysts to build capability and consistency
• Designing and documenting processes, workflows, and solution architecture
• Using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to support delivery and governance
• Championing continuous improvement and best practice within the BA community

What Experience You'll Bring

• 5–8 years' experience as a Business Analyst (1–2 years at senior level), ideally with exposure to agile large-scale or enterprise-level projects
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Advanced stakeholder management and influencing abilities
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid)
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Deep experience in one or more domains: risk & compliance, digital, transformation, operations, or IT
• Proficient in business process modelling (As-Is/To-Be), user story development, and data analysis
• Experience in regulated industries (insurance, finance, health, etc.) is highly regarded
• Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• BA certifications (e.g. ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, Agile AAC)
• Agile qualifications (e.g. PSM, CSM)
• Familiarity with APRA regulations and risk identification is a plus
