Connection, Strength and Recovery (CSR)

The Connection, Strength and Recovery (CSR) program is a pilot linked to the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032. The program aims to develop and implement recovery support models that meet individual and community needs through consultation and co-design.

The Role

The Case Manager will work with victim-survivors, providing specialised therapeutic interventions including 1:1 brief intervention case management and DFV educational support groups. Responsibilities include reviewing risk assessments, safety planning, facilitating community connections, and participating in community development activities in the Eastern and Western regions of metropolitan Adelaide. The role involves collaboration with initiative partners to identify gaps and streamline access to recovery supports across the state. This is a full-time position until 30 June 2026.

About You

Applicants should demonstrate experience working with DFSV victim-survivors (adults and children) in case management or therapeutic roles. Key requirements include:

  • Holding or studying towards a degree in Social Work or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in developing and delivering therapeutic group programs to promote recovery.
  • Knowledge of theoretical approaches and practices for working with domestic and family violence.
  • Understanding of risk assessment and safety management in DFV contexts.
  • Knowledge of community co-design principles and stakeholder collaboration.
  • A current full driver's license, DHS Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance.
