  Are you a motivated and caring Assistant in Nursing looking for a flexible role in a great environment?
  
  Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking an AIN to join our Day Surgery Unit on a part time basis, 24 hours per week between the hours of 530am -3pm. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
  
  About Us
  
  Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
  
  As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
  • Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
  • Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries
    
    
  Essential Criteria
  • Experience as an AIN within a hospital setting or 2nd year nurse student
  • Certificate 111 or IV in Health Care from an approved training provider
  • Must have competent computer skills as this role involves a lot of computer work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
