Senior Associate role in the Projects (Disputes) team based in Sydney with exposure to high-profile and complex disputes across sectors.
Responsibilities- 4+ years' post-qualification experience (PAE) in Projects or Construction disputes (all Commonwealth jurisdictions considered).
- Collaborate with top-tier clients and national/international counterparts.
- Take on significant responsibility in a dynamic, high-performing team.
- Contribute to complex, cross-jurisdictional, multi-party disputes across sectors such as renewable energy, energy & resources, transport infrastructure, and road/social infrastructure projects.
Our client is a leading independent Australian law firm, recognised for advising on complex, high-profile matters across transactions, projects, and disputes. The firm offers a collaborative culture, exposure to top-tier clients, and strong career development opportunities.
The roleAn exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Associate to join the Projects (Disputes) team in Sydney. You will work on some of the most high-profile and complex disputes in Australia and the region.
- Across sectors including renewable energy, energy & resources, and transport infrastructure.
- Road and social infrastructure projects.
- Complex, cross-jurisdictional projects and multi-party disputes.
The role offers a variety of work, significant responsibility, and collaboration across offices and practice groups nationally and internationally.
About youThe ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years' legal experience in Projects or Construction disputes (all Commonwealth jurisdictions considered).
- Strong technical, drafting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage complex matters and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, motivated, and commercially minded approach.
