The Orthopaedics Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking Staff Specialists or Senior Medical Officers to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time basis.

The Mackay Hospital and Health Service region covers Sarina in the south, Clermont in the west, and Bowen and the Whitsunday Islands in the northeast. It serves approximately 182,000 residents across an area of about 90,000 km2. The region boasts a thriving economy with diverse industries including tourism, agriculture, industry, mining, education, and health.
Mackay offers relaxed rural and coastal living, just an hour's flight from Brisbane and close to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. Salary Information (L13 - L14, L18 – L24, L25 – L27):
- Total remuneration up to $349,910 (L14), including a salary of $182,106 - $187,801 (L13-L14)
- Total remuneration up to $483,619 (L24), including a salary of $210,332 - $244,313 (L18-L24)
- Total remuneration up to $528,464 (L27), including a salary of $251,527 - $266,677 (L25-L27)
- Total remuneration up to $483,619 (L24), including a salary of $210,332 - $244,313 (L18-L24)
Additional Benefits Include:
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading for 4 weeks' leave
