About CREST Education

CREST Education comprises of two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School.

Rivercrest Christian College is in search of an accomplished and dedicated Curriculum Leader - Language and Literature to join our team on a fixed term arrangement.

The successful candidate will have;

  • a desire to teach in an environment where both Christian values and the development of the whole child are valued
  • preferably experienced in teaching the International Baccalaureate's Middle Years Programme or be committed to a concept-driven, structured-inquiry approach to teaching
  • support and guide faculty staff with the planning, development and evaluation of their programs
  • responsibility for effective leadership skills, design and delivery of curriculum and associated pedagogy to International Baccalaureate Standards and Practices
  • ability to drive curriculum review, planning and development
  • contribution to building a nurturing and compassionate focused education setting, where every student is able to develop their independence, initiative, learning and are faith connected
  • ability to collaborate and contribute to a strong collegial culture where teachers have a shared commitment to improvement and open to feedback from others.
