Salary: $131,870.90 - $134,500.70 + super

About The Role: St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, in partnership with the McGrath Foundation, is seeking a passionate and experienced McGrath Cancer Care Nurse - Head and Neck to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care and education support to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis.
  • Deliver holistic, patient-centred care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
  • Act as an advocate, educator, and clinical expert to ensure patients feel supported every step of the way.
  • Work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrate an appropriate level of oncology nursing experience and capability.
About You
  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in oncology.
  • Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer, or equivalent qualifications/experience deemed appropriate by St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney.
  • Demonstrated integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice.
  • Demonstrated effective time management and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
