The Role- part time (3 days/week)
This is a position supporting the Cardiovascular / Metabolic marketing team in a dynamic fast-paced environment located in Chatswood:
- General correspondence and administration support for the designated marketing team
- Coordinate the distribution of promotional materials to the field force
- Liaise with various agencies/suppliers, as required, in the coordination of the production of promotional materials
- Manage and maintain databases for in-house mailouts, action mailings as required by the product managers
- Manage the production and distribution of the cycle sales briefs so they are produced according to the required timelines.
- Manage the staging of symposia and promotional events for the marketing team.
- Coordinate the Company's participation in trade displays via liaison with various Societies and venues, etc.
- Arrange travel for marketing staff and external parties attending company conferences and advisory boards
- Organise trade displays, meeting forums or presentations, and liaise with key customers accordingly
- Prepare purchase requisitions as directed by the product managers and circulate for the appropriate authorisations.
- Assist in the implementation and coordination of CME programs
- Provide support for the therapeutic areas
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry would be ideal
- High level of organisational skills, experience dealing with marketing teams and coordinating marketing-related activities
- Well-developed skills across Microsoft suite, including power point and excel, along with salesforce
- Degree in marketing, life sciences or business would be highly regarded but not essential
- Positive growth mindset and a can do attitude are important in this role
