Why This Role?

As a Solution Architect supporting SEEK's Commercial Portfolio, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the technology that powers our go-to-market efforts, customer interactions, and brand experience. Sitting within the Customer Architecture domain, you'll work across SEEK's commercial landscape—collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Service, Product and Technology teams to develop scalable, insight-led solutions that elevate SEEK's market position, revenue impact and customer experience.

You'll bring a balance of strategic foresight and pragmatic delivery—translating business needs into robust, future-ready architectures, and guiding teams as they implement change. With growing opportunities to leverage AI, SEEK's advanced technology foundation, and our rich data, you'll play a lead role in driving innovation while staying aligned to SEEK's broader architecture direction.

What You'll Be Doing

Collaborate across commercial and technical teams to assess current state systems and define target architectures
Provide strategic direction by contributing to technology roadmaps and long-term commercial tech planning
Identify and design architecture options that solve complex, cross-functional challenges
Guide the delivery of high-impact solutions that align with SEEK's standards and business goals
Lead stakeholder engagement across Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, bridging organisational boundaries and fostering alignment to achieve best outcomes for SEEK.
Contribute to strategic technology initiatives leveraging in-house cloud solutions as well as third-party platforms to drive customer engagement, business growth, and commercial productivity.
Gain deep understanding of both SEEK's technical landscape and business objectives, boldly challenging the status quo and guiding the organisation toward continuous improvement and innovation.

The Opportunity

This role sits within the Customer Architecture domain of SEEK's 20+ person Architecture function. The team spans six domains: Enterprise, Customer, Data & AI, Platform, Growth, and Architecture Practices, all with a shared purpose—connecting strategy to delivery.

In this role, you'll operate across SEEK's Commercial portfolio—where business ambition meets user need. You'll influence how SEEK builds its marketing, sales and service capability while ensuring every decision considers the customer journey and creates meaningful value in-market.

What We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience architecting and documenting complex, scalable technology solutions
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills across business and technical teams
• Commercial acumen and a passion for customer excellence
• Comprehensive working knowledge of enterprise customer platform solutions, such as CRM, omni-channel customer engagement, MarTech/AdTech, and complex data integrations
• Interest in or experience with applying AI to enhance customer or commercial outcomes
