Job Description
- Develop and implement merchandise planning strategies to meet overall business objectives.
- Analyse sales data and trends to forecast inventory needs effectively.
- Collaborate with buying and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimise stock turnover.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and planning outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and minimise stock risks.
The Successful Applicant
About you:
- Proven experience as a merchandise planner.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for effective decision-making.
- Familiarity with retail trends and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a results-driven mindset.
- Experience with NetStock IBP is ideal, not essential.

- Competitive salary of approximately $95,000-115,000 plus superannuation.
- Fixed-term contract arrangement with potential for extension.
