Provide financial and policy insights that matter
Are you an emerging financial, budget or policy professional or leader with strong analytical skills? Queensland Treasury is looking for analysts that can develop solutions to complex, financial, budgetary and policy problems. Be part of a multidisciplinary team that sits at the heart of the Queensland Government, delivering practical advice and insights to help shape Queensland's fiscal position and policy directions. Roles are available across a number of levels and policy areas.
In this role, you will:
• Provide strategic insights into agency financial and non-financial performance and related policy issues
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, submissions and presentations
• Coordinate input to budget processes
• Manage stakeholder relationships with credibility and influence
• Represent Treasury in internal/external forums and projects
What experience you will bring:
• Experience in analysing financial and non-financial performance information and data
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to contribute independently and within a team
• The drive to grow as a financial or policy analyst in a central agency
• Ability to manage competing priorities with integrity and clarity
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
