Key Responsibilities

Data Migration Strategy and Planning:

  1. Input into a comprehensive data migration strategy aligned with the overall ERP migration roadmap.
  2. Define data migration scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  3. Establish and maintain the data migration schedule, ensuring adherence to project milestones.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Collaborate with business process owners, IT teams, and data stewards to understand data requirements.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for all data migration-related activities and issues for ResMed's ERP Migration Program.
  3. Present status updates and key metrics to the program and stakeholders.

Data Assessment and Preparation:

  1. Support and coordinate detailed data mapping and gap analysis between legacy ERP systems and Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  2. Lead data cleansing, profiling, and enrichment activities to ensure consistency and quality.
  3. Oversee business validation and reconciliation activities to prepare data for migration.

Execution of Data Migration:

  1. Lead technical resources in developing any legacy system extracts required to facilitate loading.
  2. Support trial data loads, reconciliation, and defect resolution in alignment with project testing cycles (e.g., SIT, UAT).
  3. Coordinate ResMed's ERP migration cutover activities to ensure seamless data migration during go-live.

Data Quality and Governance:

  1. Establish data quality standards and governance frameworks for the migration process.
  2. Accountable for data quality checks, audits, and reconciliation post-migration.
  3. Ensure compliance with organizational data policies and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  1. Lead a cross-functional team of data analysts, data architects, data engineers, developers, and consultants.
  2. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to achieve migration objectives.
  3. Manage third-party vendors or consultants involved in the migration effort.

Risk Management:

  1. Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration activities.
  2. Develop contingency plans to address potential data migration challenges or delays.

Key Incumbent Requirements:

  1. Proven relevant experience (5+ years) in leading data migration projects, preferably in ERP implementations (e.g., Oracle Cloud Fusion).
  2. Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion data models, structures, and integration points.
  3. Understanding of Data Migration tools and methodologies (e.g., OIC, Boomi).
  4. Proficiency in data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
  5. Solid knowledge of legacy system data structures and migration complexities.
  6. Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  7. Oracle certification or relevant experience in ERP implementation projects (Desirable).
  8. Experience in cloud-based data migrations and integration tools (Desirable).
