Tritium designs and builds advanced DC fast chargers for fleets and public networks. We are product-focused and hands-on, developing the next generation of chargers at our Brisbane Engineering Development and Test Centre.

Role snapshot

You will join the Product Reliability Engineering team reporting to the VP of Engineering Operations and be based at Murarrie. The role focuses on resolving complex in-service and production reliability issues, embedding lessons into new product development, and driving system-health insights across the product lifecycle.

What you will do
  • Investigate field failures and lead containment and remediation through NCR processes.
  • Run structured failure analysis (8D, RCA, FMECA), implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
  • Analyse complaint and telemetry data to prioritise reliability work based on safety, cost and customer impact.
  • Review designs and recommend changes to improve reliability, maintainability and supportability.
  • Support installations, commissioning and field troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain reliability reporting, dashboards and maintenance optimisation processes.
  • Contribute to risk management documentation (FMEA/PFMEA, hazard analysis) and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
  • Proven reliability or maintenance experience in electrical, automotive or related industries.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills and experience with structured problem-solving methods.
  • Advanced FMECA/FMEA experience and the ability to apply results to design change.
  • Practical system-level knowledge across power electronics, control systems, PCBs and firmware/software.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and change-management skills.
  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline; post-graduate reliability or project management qualification preferred.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, MBSE tools and data-driven reporting.
