With a team of dedicated staff, Event Artillery delivers unparalleled event hire services that exceed client expectations.

Role Description

This is a part-time role (school hours) based in our Bayswater office for 20-24 hours per week over 4 days. Our Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as:

  • General bookkeeping across multiple businesses using accounting software XERO
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
  • Payroll for approx. 25 staff
  • Managing basic journal entries
  • BAS & IAS preparation
  • Payment of Superannuation
  • Onboarding new staff

Additionally, the role will support our event hire team in setting up quotes in our rental management software and answering client calls when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' booking e xperience.
  • Experience in all aspects of account keeping/bookkeeping.
  • Experience using accounting software (XERO preferred)
  • Qualifications in Bookkeeping preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
