The Company:
Our client is a well-established public practice based in West Perth. They provide a range of services to their clients ranging from Tax & Advisory through to Bookkeeping, ensuring their clients are supported with all facets of their accounting needs.
The Role:
As the Bookkeeper Team Leader you will take the reins of our bookkeeping function. You will be responsible for leading a team, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our tailored bookkeeping services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the internal and offshore bookkeeping team
- Conduct weekly team check-ins, performance reviews, and ongoing staff development
- Manage team workflows, task allocation, and quality assurance
- Sit in on client meetings with the Director to promote and educate clients on the value of the bookkeeping services
- Create bespoke, scalable bookkeeping solutions to suit a diverse range of businesses
- Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring exceptional service at every stage
- Review bookkeeping work for accuracy, compliance, and consistency
About You:
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or Team Leader
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Previous management experience (ideal)
- Experience with Xero and cloud accounting platforms
- Excellent communication skills
