
Electrical Technician

Join our expanding NSW team We're seeking an outstanding Electrical Technician a fill full-time, permanent role. If you're passionate about the data centre industry and eager to work across the vibrant Sydney metro and Western Sydney areas, we'd love to hear from you.
Day to day, you'll expect to:
- Install, test, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Work with PLCs, process control systems, and industrial automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards across all projects.
- Set up and maintain communications systems with precision and reliability.
- Apply extensive electrical expertise in commercial, office, data centre, and industrial environments.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of lighting systems and emergency egress lighting for safe and efficient operation.
- Install, test, and commission fibre optic and copper infrastructure to support high-performance networks.
- Promote a safe and compliant work environment through adherence to best practices.
- Deliver exceptional workmanship, maintaining high standards on every job site.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and apprentices in well-established teams.
- Play a key role in mentoring and training apprentices, supporting their hands-on development.
- Utilise strong communication skills to engage with clients and collaborate in a fast-paced, growing industry.
About You
You will:
- Be aUEE40420 certified technician, and hold your Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation.
- Hold your Electrical Licence, valid within NSW. Holding your ACMA licence with endorsements of structured and fibre optics would be highly regarded.
- Have your WHS White Card.
- Have several years of industry experience within the electrical and communications industry, specifically working within data centres.
- Bring the ability to perform electrical maintenance in commercial and industrial spaces.
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude.
- Have excellent safety awareness and meticulous attention to detail to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Be willing to be a part of an on-call roster.
- Hold or be eligible to obtain your baseline/NV1 security clearance.
- Excel in both collaborative team environments and in working independently.
- Showcase proactive problem-solving skills.
