Job detailsJob Title: Female Senior Support Specialist
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Female Senior Support Specialist to work with clients with multiple diagnoses in an all-female home setting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide high-quality support and care to clients in need, with a strong understanding of Autism and ADHD in adults and children, knowledge of trauma-informed care, and a great understanding of mental health.
Skills- Strong understanding of Autism and ADHD in adults and children
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Understanding of mental health issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Provide high-quality support and care to clients with multiple diagnoses
- Develop individualised support plans for each client
- Assist clients with daily living activities as needed
- Monitor client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Disability Support Worker or similar role
- Certificate III or IV in Mental Health or Disability Services
- Current First Aid certificate
- Mental Health first aid certificate
- Valid driver's license
