Job summary

Painter – Gold Star Pools Salary: $77,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation Location: Wollongong Employment type: Full-time About Us Gold Star Pools is a leading pool construction and renovation company servicing residential and commercial clients across Australia.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
  • Apply paints, varnishes, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Mix paints and match colours to design and client requirements.
  • Ensure all finishes are of a high professional standard and meet safety and compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a professional Painter.
  • Trade qualification in Painting and Decorating (Certificate III or equivalent) desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint products, and application techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Current driver's licence and White Card preferred.
Salary & Benefits

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary between $77,000 and $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
