Stiles Electrical are looking for Electrical Estimators to join their growing Estimating department, based in our Perth head office (Northern Suburbs).
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Electrical Estimator in an Electrical/Civil construction environment;
- Sound understanding of the electrical contracting market;
- Have an excellent track record of quoting projects up to $10M to an Advanced level;
- Have a strong and sound understanding of contract clauses, Australian Standard contracts and Government contracts;
- Understand legal requirements and obligations of contracts;
- Be highly organised with excellent time management skills;
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors;
- Have extensive and demonstrable experience in completing high-quality Construction and Design/Construction (D+C) estimates and proposals for civil electrical systems, understanding the equipment, the varying site requirements, logistics, environments, safety, etc;
- Have exceptional skills and experience in "filling in the gaps". From quoting simple construction projects to sophisticated systems with only client concepts;
- Have a well-established network of reliable sources and understanding of civil construction equipment;
- Have an excellent understanding of Australian Standards and their relation to Industrial Electrical Systems;
- Competent in diagnosing clients' needs by asking specific and relevant questions, processing information and providing recommendations/alternative solutions;
- Will contribute to our work environment and our success by playing an active & constructive part in our Review & Improve processes;
- Good IT literacy and ability to use/pick up estimation and planning software such as SIMPRO; and
- Have basic familiarity with SIMPRO software for estimation and project planning;
- Hold a current WA Driver's Licence;
- Be an Australian citizen with legal right to work in Australia.
