Project Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a Project Administrator to join our Engineering and Design team in Sunshine Coast. The role is responsible for undertaking and co-ordinating the administrative functions of projects to support the Principal Engineer and Project Managers.

The key services provided include site assessment, planning approvals, engineering design, and construction completion. As a Project Administrator, you will liaise with clients, authorities, contractors, and team members to understand project scope and assist the Project Manager in administrative tasks.

The specific responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients, authorities, contractors, and team members to understand project scope and undertake administrative tasks.
  • Understanding project status and preparing/administering all necessary paperwork, including application forms and notifications.
  • Tracking applications and submissions, following up with authorities, contractors, and team members to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks, such as contract administration, correspondence, and variation processing.
  • Taking meeting minutes and records of meetings and finalizing/circulating minutes to attendees.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to effectively manage priorities, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and interpret and communicate technical information to clients and stakeholders.
