Vectiq is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Officer to join a dynamic Defence environment, delivering critical logistics and sustainment services to support operational capability.

Location: Canberra (Onsite)

Clearance: NV1 or higher Security Clearance

Start: ASAP

Contract End: November 2025

In this role, you'll be working within established frameworks, policies, and procedures to plan, manage, and execute complex materiel logistics activities. You will collaborate with project and logistics managers, exercising initiative and professional judgement to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate logistics documentation.
  • Provide advice on logistics management methodologies.
  • Plan, schedule, and estimate tasks to meet operational requirements.
  • Conduct and assist with risk assessments, tracking activities against project schedules.
  • Manage staff, attend meetings, and contribute to review sessions.
  • Deliver a wide range of logistics support functions, including:
  • Inventory management: MILIS
  • Cataloguing and procurement
  • Repair and calibration coordination
  • Stock assessments, adjustments, and obsolescence management
  • Configuration and financial management support
  • Disposal coordination
  • Reporting and compliance activities
  • Operational support and governance activities

About You:

  • Proven experience in integrated logistics support
  • Strong understanding of inventory, procurement, and sustainment processes.
  • NV1 or higher security clearance
