Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers
  • Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café
  • Replenish condiments as needed
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
  • Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Promote the centre's services and programs to patrons
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
  • Provide information on the product range, including promoting healthy food options
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends; hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
Skills & Attributes
  • Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
  • Coffee making / barista skills
  • Food handling certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current Food Handling Qualification
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Ability to be flexible during peak periods
