Job Description

We are seeking experienced Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, or Exercise Physiologists to join our team at Port Macquarie NSW. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals to provide occupational rehabilitation services and support return to health and return to work outcomes.

  • Case management and caseloads manageable with the support of Rehabilitation Assistants;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and allied health professionals;
  • Working across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Assisting individuals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes through assessments and treatment plans;

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology registration with AHPRA or ESSA;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and empathy essential for building relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Well-developed time management skills a must for managing multiple cases and priorities;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance required.
