About the opportunity

The Customer service coordinator reports to the Customer Service Manager and is part of the Operations team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to support a portfolio of customers throughout the preconstruction process of building their new home to ensure a high-quality file is delivered to the construction team. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Set clear expectations with customers to ensure they have a solid understanding of the pre-construction process and timelines.
  2. Meet with the customer face to face to complete comprehensive plan presentations among other required meetings across Hobart and Launceston offices (travel required).
  3. Establish a strong rapport with customers by contacting the customers on a weekly via phone call to provide a progress update on their build.
  4. Work within a fast-paced energetic team, providing quick solutions to any problems which may arise.
  5. Successfully manage multiple clients from Acceptance of Consolidated Proposal through to Consolidated Tender, ensuring that plans and contract documents are accurate and available for client presentation meetings.
  6. Work collaboratively with other departments and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  7. Identify win/win outcomes for the customer and the business.
  8. Help to ensure that the administrative tasks meet each critical deadline to keep the clients' administrative process on track within the specified timeframe.

About you

  1. A commitment to providing all customers with a professional and unbeatable customer experience.
  2. Previous experience is a customer service and support role.
  3. The ability to work under pressure successfully managing multiple clients and prioritising workloads.
  4. Ideally some knowledge of the residential construction industry including building your own home or a passion for building design.
  5. Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
