About the client

Our client is a leading provider of automated traffic enforcement solutions with multiple offices nationwide and overseas. Due to increased product demand and maintenance schedules at the Melbourne branch, we are seeking an experienced technician to join their team initially on a contract basis, with the potential for a longer-term position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
  • Measuring and recording electrical parameters of sensors using spectrum analyzers.
  • Troubleshooting communication issues with cameras and providing feedback to the service manager.
  • Coordinating equipment movements and delivering equipment to testing providers.
  • Conducting road tests on equipment (Factory Acceptance Testing).
  • Terminating traffic sensor cables and installing radar modules.
  • Supporting project work, warehouse, and workshop services as required.
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas.
  • Performing site inspections and preparing observation reports.
  • Complying with all company HSE policies and procedures, including external customer-related work.
You will have or be eligible to gain:
  • White card
  • Police check (conducted via Bayside Group)
  • Full driver's license (able to drive a manual vehicle)
  • Experience towing and reversing trailers
Ideally, you will have:
  • TM2 & TMI2 Traffic Management certificate
  • Electronics qualification (Diploma/Degree)
  • EWP ticket
