Overview

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and committed Driver to join our growing Boral Asphalt team in Eagle Farm. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for the delivery of bituminous products in a safe and efficient manner to sites across Queensland and Northern NSW.

What you will do
  • Operate a heavy vehicle combination for the delivery of bituminous products
  • Ensure safe and efficient cartage and delivery to sites across Queensland and Northern NSW
  • Promote a positive public image of Boral and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a company truck and report faults to management
  • Comply with Boral OH&S policy and ensure Safety and Environmental standards are met
What we are looking for
  • A strong commitment to safety and the environment with superior customer focus
  • HC or MC drivers' licence
  • Dangerous Goods licence (desirable, not essential)
  • Experience in tanker operation and handling of bituminous products (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of basic fatigue management (desirable)
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements
