About This Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Meat Manager to lead our meat department at our Rochedale store. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will manage a small team, oversee stock management, create rosters, and ensure high standards of customer service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the meat department team
  • Create staff rosters and manage scheduling
  • Order stock and control department costs
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards
  • Drive sales and profitability through merchandising and customer engagement

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
  • Experience in fresh food retail preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to control costs and understand profit margins
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to health and safety standards
