We are currently looking for a dedicated and qualified sonographer to join our Chester Hill Clinic.

Our practice offers a supportive and friendly working environment and an interesting case load including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Musculoskeletal, Interventional, General, and Small Parts.

Clinical Duties:

• Perform and be responsible for the production of diagnostic sonographic images
• Provide radiologists with a written report of any examination undertaken.
• Select and examine images, search for differences between healthy and pathological areas, and determine if the scope of the exam should be extended based on preliminary findings.
• Present the sonograms and preliminary findings to Physicians.
• Complete the appropriate documentation and maintain patients' medical records.
• Supporting trainee sonographers and providing them with guidance and teaching.

About You:

• Ability to perform a wide range of ultrasound scans to a high standard obstetrics and MSK.
• Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
• The ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work well within a team, multitask, think ahead, and adapt to changes.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient-centered care and customer service.
• Demonstrated consistent delivery of high-quality clinical services and patient care.
• Contributing to a positive team environment.
• ASAR Registration is a must.
